WELCOME TO NORTH PEMBROKESHIRE OPEN STUDIOS
Step inside. Meet the makers. Take home something you love!
For two weeks at the end of the summer, talented artists and makers across North Pembrokeshire open their doors and invite you in.
'NPOS' is an artist-led Open Studios event where you can visit working studios and friendly local venues, meet the artists and makers in person, and see what they're creating — from first ideas to finished pieces.
Whether you’re planning a full day out or just popping in for one studio, you’ll find warm welcomes, real conversations, and beautiful work across coast, countryside and town.

What you’ll find
Don't expect pristine galleries (although there may be some)... This is a chance to get close to the 'making' process and studios often have a little creative mess!
See work in progress, tools, materials and techniques.
Meet artists and makers across painting, print-making, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, sculpture, photography and more.
Ask questions. What have you always wondered about art? What are you curious about? Our artists are happy to answer your burning questions.
Buy direct and support the artist. NPOS doesn’t take commission on studio sales.

Make a day of it (or a whole fortnight!)
One of the joys of NPOS is how easy it is to build your own mini 'trail'.
We encourage you to combine your creative visits with the many wonders that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Choose a few studios near each other, add a walk or a swim, stop for lunch — and let the day unfold.
And if you're really dedicated, and have time, we challenge you to visit them all!

Pick up a map or download the App!
Our printed guide with Maps and venue details will be published in the summer and can be found in galleries, art shops, libraries, tourist information centres and other venues. This year we are also launching our new mobile App! It will be available to download in the spring see HERE for details.
NPOS Venues are located in and around North Pembrokeshire in West Wales. It includes places like St Dogmael’s, Moylegrove, Newport, the Preselis, Dinas, Fishguard, Letterston, St Davids, Solva, Newgale, Haverfordwest and Narberth and more. Some venues are 'off the beaten track', so you get to discover places you'd never normally find.
In other words: plenty to explore, and plenty of reasons to make a day out of it!

About us
NPOS began as a simple idea in 2018, brought to life by Maggie and Andrew Brown alongside a small group of local artists. It has since grown into a vibrant annual event with a huge variety artists and makers taking part.
We are a not-for-profit organisation, run by a small team of volunteers, most of whom are also practising artists. We are working hard to celebrate and promote the wonderful creativity that thrives in this part of Wales.
We hope you enjoy all the incredible things on offer and we look forward to welcoming you in 2026!

Are you an artist or maker?
NPOS is open to artists and makers aged 18+ working in any medium, with a home, studio or venue in the North Pembrokeshire area.
