Time to get ready for our Summer Group Exhibition!

We’re delighted to invite you to take part in our second group show this year. The NPOS Summer Exhibition at the West Wales Arts Centre (Peppers),16 West Street, Fishguard SA65 9AE.

This exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your work in a gallery setting, connect with fellow artists, meet the team, and be part of our wider NPOS mission.

Here are all the details:

What you can enter

You may submit:

• 1 piece of 2D work (Paintings, mixed media, print-making, photography, etc.) Maximum size: 85cm high x 85cm wide, including frame. Please supply with fixings, ready to hang.

or:

• Two pieces of 3D work (ceramics, glass, small sculptures, etc) 

Delivery details:

Deliver your work to Andrew at: IndigoBrown, 14 West St, Fishguard SA65 9AE (next door to the gallery- NOT the gallery itself)

Work must be delivered on Monday 10th or Tuesday 11th August

Between 10am-6.30pm 

👉 Please only drop off work during these times!

Adhoc drop-offs place a significant burden on Andrew, who is coordinating the intake of over 60 artist's work, alongside running his own business. Please respect his time and do not ask him to make exceptions.

 Collection of unsold work: Tues 8th or Wed 9th Sept (10:00–18:30) from 14 West Street, Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. SA65 9AE

 Labelling your work:

All work must be clearly labelled with:

• Artist name

• Title

• Medium

• Size

• Price

 Fees:

There are NO submission or hanging fees. This is a benefit of your NPOS membership. However, please note: The gallery takes a 40% commission on any sales, so this should be factored in to your pricing.

Gallery opening hours:
Tuesday - Friday: 11.00am - 4.00pm
Saturday:  11.00am - 3.00pm
Sunday & Monday:  CLOSED 

Opening gathering: Saturday 15th August, 3pm – 6pm

All artists are warmly encouraged to attend the opening. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow artists, connect with the NPOS Team and celebrate the exhibition together.

The main 'Open Studios' event will run from 
Saturday 22 August to Sunday 6 September 2026.  There are also other events outside of these dates and your membership gives you year round promotion. and your profile remains live on the website. You can choose to welcome visitors at any time by appointment, or through your own events, which you can publish on the NPOS site.

We welcome any working artist or maker aged 18 or over who is:

• Based in the North Pembrokeshire area (see map on the website)
• Supportive of NPOS and its aims
• Willing to follow NPOS guidance

Artists and makers join by completing the online registration form and then paying the full fee by bank transfer.

Our annual Membership Fee is £150 and full payment is due by 31 January 2026. Your membership remains active until the end of the year.

• Your year-round online profile on our web directory - images, bio, contact details, links (+ useful backlinks to your own site) 

• Your own login so you can update your listing anytime, you can even add your own events and projects! Web support is available if needed.

• Inclusion in the printed brochure (thousands of these will be available, with hub collection points + local distribution support) 

• New look signage + promotional materials.

• A bigger promotional push: local press, daily social media posts and regular visitor newsletters

• The Spring Group Gallery Exhibition featuring every participating artist 23rd May - 6th June with Private view.

• And soon: the brand new NPOS App, a genuinely exciting new addition for 2026! This will work on both for both iOS and Android with an interactive map and up-to-date artist/venue info, making it even easier for visitors to find you, follow routes, and join in.

• The Summer Group Exhibition with a private view in a local gallery. 15th Aug - 5th Sept.

• Social media promotion throughout the year. We are working hard to promote YOU as well as the event itself.

• Paid Advertising in various media and collaborations with partner organisations

You must provide your own venue or arrange to share a venue with other participating artists.
All artists in a shared venue pay the same registration fee.
No non‑paying artists may exhibit in your space.
NPOS does not take commission on sales made from your own venue.

To get the most from the event, members are encouraged to open their venues for the full duration.
Ideally, venues should be open 10am–5pm daily, though we understand this may not be possible for everyone.

Your opening hours must be clearly stated in your NPOS website entry and adhered to.

Members must provide accurate directions for visitors, which may include a what3words location.

The committee is not responsible for inaccurate directions or contact details provided by members.

Members are also responsible for displaying directional signage to and at their venues.
Some signage materials will be provided depending on available funds.
Additional downloadable resources (banners, flags, bunting, posters) will be available in the Resources section of the website.

Members also help distribute printed guides. Each artist will receive a minimum allocation before the event and may top up their chosen locations as needed.

Yes. Members must supply a selection of recent images for their portfolio page on the NPOS website.

Yes. Members must arrange public liability insurance for their venue during the event.

Members are expected to keep a record of visitor numbers and complete a Feedback Form for the committee after the event. This information is invaluable for future planning.

Many artists choose to open their studios by arrangement throughout the year, using their NPOS promotional materials, posting events on the NPOS website, and sharing updates on social media.
